Upcoming Event—May 14:
RFID in the Food Industry

Gain extensive knowledge and learn about emerging Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies currently being deployed throughout the food industry at a one-day, interactive conference at The Penn State Behrend RFID Center of Excellence on May 14.

"RU ready for RFID?" will allow participants to discover ways in which RFID can improve their  food industry processes and increase productivity related to food safety, manufacturing, distribution, and learn directly from organizations which have already implemented RFID.

The conference will be held on May 14, 2008 from 8 am to 4 pm at The Research and Economic Development Center at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in Erie, PA. For more information, and to register for the event, visit www.ebizitpa.org/rfidconference.

The RFID Center of Excellence was founded in 2005 as a collaborative initiative with the Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT at Penn State Behrend, with the help of initial seed funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
