hField Technologies Wins VC’s Choice Award

On March 28, hField Technologies, located in Ben Franklin TechVentures, presented at the New Jersey Venture Conference and won the VC’s Choice Award. Approximately 60 companies exhibited at the annual event.

hField developed and markets the Wi-Fire, a compact, range-extending USB device that enables PC, Mac and Linux users to access wireless Internet connections from up to 1,000 feet away—three times the range of an internal wireless adapter.

The early-stage company's technology has received widespread critical acclaim, particularly among Internet media and tech bloggers.
